Ingredients of Glazed Peach Burgers
- 1 cup balsamic vinegar
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 1⁄2 pounds ground beef
- 1⁄3 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 peaches, peeled and sliced or cut into wedges
- 4 slices red onion
- 8 slices cheese
- 4 leaf lettuce
- 4 buns
Steps To Make Glazed Peach Burgers
In a 1-quart non-stick saucepan heat vinegar and sugar (or honey) over medium-high heat. Simmer for 10-16 minutes or until reduced by half (about 4 tablespoons). If saucepan is light, reduce heat to medium. Cool at room temperature.
In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, onion, salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes. Remove and divide into 4 patties.
Spray grill-pan with cooking spray. If using grill, turn grill on medium and lightly brush with olive oil. Grill peaches for 2-5 minutes turning once and until grill marks appear caramelized.
Grill burgers for 8-12 minutes over medium heat turning once, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
Top the bottom half of each bun with lettuce, patty, cheese, onion, peaches, balsamic glaze drizzle and bun top.
