  • 3 sheets frozen puff pastry, partially thawed
  • 1/2 cup caramelised onion
  • 320g marinated fetta, drained, crumbled
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/2 x 750g packet McCain Sweet Potato Straight Cut Fries
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • Sesame seeds, to serve

Steps To Make Sweet potato chip sausage rolls


  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Line 2 large baking trays with baking paper.
  • Step 2
    Place 1 sheet of pastry onto a flat surface. Spoon 2 tablespoons onion along pastry edge closest to you, leaving a 2cm edge. Top with 1/3 of the fetta and thyme. Arrange 1/3 of the chips on fetta, leaving a 2cm border. Brush edhes with egg. Starting from the edge closest to you, roll up pastry to enclose filling. Using a fork, press ends together to seal. Place on 1 prepared tray.
  • Step 3
    Repeat with remaining pastry, onion, fetta, thyme, chips and egg to make 3 rolls in total. Brush rolls with egg. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Season with salt and pepper. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden and puffed. Stand for 10 minutes. Serve.
