  • 1 1/2 cups Special K original
  • 6 fresh medjool dates, pitted, roughly chopped
  • 6 soft and juicy dried figs, chopped
  • 1/3 cup reduced-sugar dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup almond, brazil and cashew spread
  • 1/3 cup brazil nuts
  • 2 teaspoons finely grated orange rind
  • 1/2 cup LSA
  • 25g butter, melted, cooled
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons white chia seeds

Steps To Make Special K cranberry bliss bars

Method

  • Step 1
    Grease a 6cm-deep,19cm square cake pan. Line base and sides of pan with baking paper, extending paper above edges of pan on all sides. Reserve 1 tablespoon cereal. Place remaining cereal, dates, figs, cranberries, spread, nuts, orange rind, LSA, butter and 2 teaspoons chia seeds in a food processor. Process until well combined and a coarse mixture forms.
  • Step 2
    Spoon mixture into prepared pan, pressing down with the back of a spoon to level. Crush reserved cereal. Sprinkle over crushed cereal and remaining chia seeds. Cover. Refrigerate for 4 hours or until firm.
  • Step 3
    Cut into bars. Serve.
