  • 4 cups raki or tsipouro or grappa
  • 1⁄4 cup honey
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 whole cloves

Steps To Make Rakomelo – Greek Digestif


  • Heat all ingredients in a large pot over medium-low heat to a slow boil. Stir occasionally. Once the mixture boils, remove from heat.
  • Allow to cool and pour mixture into a glass bottle with a lid. Refrigerate at least 4 hours. Serve cold as a digestive after dinner.
