  • 3 eggs
  • 150g lean leg ham, cut into strips
  • 500g spiral or fusilli pasta
  • 1/4 cup torn fresh basil leaves
  • Ground black pepper
  • Extra fresh basil leaves, to garnish

  • Step 1
    Lightly whisk together the milk and eggs in a medium mixing bowl and then stir in the ham.
  • Step 2
    Cook pasta in a large saucepan of salted boiling water, following packet directions, until al dente. Drain well and return to the sauce- pan. Add the egg mixture and stir constantly over medium-low heat until the egg mixture is almost set. Stir in the basil and season with pepper.
