- 1 loaf gluten-free cinnamon raisin bread, sliced diagonally
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2⁄3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1⁄2 cup granulated sugar
Steps To Make Gluten-Free French Toast Casserole
Grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish and layer the bread in the dish.
In a large bowl, combine the eggs, milk, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, oil, vanilla, and sugar. Pour the egg mixture over the bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
The next morning, heat the oven to 450°F and bring the casserole to room temperature. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until set. Serve with maple syrup.
