  • 80mls (1/3 cup) tarragon vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
  • 1 garlic clove, coarsely chopped
  • Pinch ground cloves
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons olive oil

Steps To Make Honey mustard


  • Step 1
    Combine the mustard seeds and vinegar in a small bowl, cover and allow to stand overnight.
  • Step 2
    Transfer the mustard seed mixture to the bowl of a food processor. Add the honey, salt, ginger, garlic and ground cloves and process until combined. With the motor running, gradually add the olive oil in a thin stream until well combined. Use a clean spoon to transfer the mustard into a clean jar and seal immediately. Label and date. Keep in the fridge for at least 1 month before opening. The mustard will keep for about 2 months in the fridge after opening.
